POSTCARD TYPES : Colour Tinted
Usually refers to real photographic or printed postcards where colour isadded after the printing process.
A painstaking technique of adding colour ink to the picture, this was undertaken by cheap labour (often young girls) who would repetitively add the same colour patches to the image before passing to the next worker for additional colour(s).
